Scientific poster construction compresses a long multimodal paper into a readable, editable canvas. Existing systems hide request-level failures by scoring only completed outputs; direct image generation is not element-editable, while coding-agent workflows are costly. PosterMELD is a template-conditioned multi-agent pipeline: capacity-aware slots guide writing before rendering, and deterministic gates plus vision-language model (VLM) review route failures to bounded repair. Each accepted request exports editable PowerPoint (PPTX) and Portable Network Graphics (PNG) artifacts; explicit design controls yield same-paper variants. Across 621 papers, Print-Ready Rate (PRR) counts requests passing geometric, readability, asset-integrity, and obvious-factual-error checks, with native editability reported separately. A frozen VLM assigns conditional Craftsmanship-Harmony-Expressiveness (CHE) scores to print-ready outputs. PosterMELD attains 81.3% PRR, 3.4 times P2P's rate and 5.2 times PosterGen's, and the highest conditional CHE among generated methods with multiple print-ready outputs. Native editability and explicit design controls are retained at a mean cost of USD 0.38 per request, 3.5% of Codex+Skill's. Athlete assessment is a critical process for tracking physical progress and identifying elite talent. However, during mass recruitment drives, traditional methods rely on manual observation, which is inherently subjective and unscalable, or basic computer vision (CV) systems limited to quantitative repetition counting. These standard approaches lack the "coaching intelligence" required to evaluate qualitative physiological markers such as form degradation, spinal articulation, and fatigue. This paper presents a novel, LLM-based hybrid agentic framework for automated, holistic athlete profiling that strictly aligns with the Sports Authority of India (SAI) assessment protocols. Orchestrated via LangGraph, our dual-pipeline architecture synthesizes the geometric precision of CV (MediaPipe) for kinematic tracking with the semantic reasoning of Vision-Language Models (Llama-4-scout). To overcome the latency and token constraints associated with multimodal video processing, we introduce a 3 X 3 "Smart Grid" temporal chunking strategy, reducing computational overhead by over 88% while preserving critical temporal continuity. To ensure data integrity and mitigate hallucination, the framework pioneers an autonomous "LLM-as-a-Judge" self-correction loop that cross-references quantitative and qualitative metrics before persistence. Finally, we implement a dual-persistence Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipeline utilizing a vector search engine (ChromaDB). This enables coaches to bypass rigid SQL databases and perform complex semantic queries (e.g., "Identify athletes with high endurance but poor core rigidity") using natural language. Experimental results demonstrate that this multi-agent approach significantly bridges the gap between raw biometric tracking and actionable coaching insights, offering a scalable, objective solution for national talent identification.
While Multimodal Retrieval-Augmented Generation (M-RAG) enhances Large Vision-Language Models, it remains highly susceptible to cross-modal hallucinations, causal fabrications, and sycophancy. Furthermore, existing mitigation pipelines often face an intervention paradox: static rules tend to unnecessarily disrupt accurate generations, whereas leaving the multi-modal reasoning completely unguided allows existing mismatches to cascade into severe logical fabrications. To quantify and mitigate these hallucinations, we propose a Multi-Agent system, MODE-RAG, driven by Variational Free Energy (VFE) and internal attention states to dynamically gate interventions. High-risk queries are routed to five stage-specific agents, integrating Monte Carlo Tree Search (MCTS) for rigorous causal derivation and logit perturbations to penalize sycophancy. Dedicated Correction and Overseer agents ensure formatting stability and perform post-hoc factual verification. To objectively evaluate our approach, we introduce ModeVent, a challenging subset derived from the MultiVent dataset. Extensive experiments indicate that our system effectively reduces hallucination rates and logical fabrication, significantly improving the robustness of M-RAG systems.
