Interview assessment requires per-criterion judgments grounded in behavioral evidence, yet surging applicant volumes have made human-only evaluation costly and inconsistent, while existing AI approaches yield opaque scores without traceable rationale. We introduce PhoenixNest-Video, an evidence-grounded multimodal agent framework for automated video interview assessment. It builds a semantic video graph as structured working memory, performs rubric-conditioned retrieval with cross-modal verification across visual, audio, and textual streams, and produces per-criterion scores anchored to the candidate's materials. A Scorer trained via Rubrics-based Reinforcement Learning with dual rewards for rubric alignment and score-level differentiation internalizes the discriminative structure of multi-level rubrics. PhoenixNest-Video attains 91.50\% grade-level accuracy on VInterview-2025, outperforming substantially larger proprietary models. A compact, rubric-grounded agent therefore scores candidates in closer agreement with an expert panel than direct prompting of much larger models, and exposes the evidence behind each score for human review.
Understanding a basketball game requires recognizing events, localizing actions, identifying players, and relating these to structured game knowledge. Existing benchmarks primarily evaluate these abilities one at a time, leaving the interactions among these abilities under-explored. We introduce BasketballBench, a multimodal benchmark comprising 7,980 questions across ten tasks in text, image, and video. It is built from the 2025-2026 NBA season and includes official playby-play, rosters and profiles for 530 active players, and 2,501 possession-level broadcast clips. We further propose BasketballSkills, an agent that composes eight basketball-specific perception and retrieval tools under four reusable skills that specify tool order, evidence bindings, and stopping conditions. Experiments show that current MLLMs struggle particularly on questions requiring the integration of multiple capabilities, whereas BasketballSkills outperforms them, highlighting the effectiveness of explicitly composing domain-specific capabilities for comprehensive basketball understanding.
Recent unified multimodal models show a single architecture can jointly perform vision/language understanding and image generation/editing. However, they repeatedly feed all historical visual and textual inputs into a shared context window, limiting long-horizon multimodal dialogue due to visual token explosion and unreliable cross-turn referencing. We propose a Cognitive-structured Multimodal Agent that externalizes visual information into an Episodic Visual Memory and selectively reactivates relevant episodes during reasoning. The agent consists of a Perceptual Abstraction Engine for structured visual abstraction, a Cognitive Retrieval Engine for cross-turn memory retrieval, and a Multimodal Executive Controller for autonomous task inference and action planning. To address the lack of turn-level retrieval supervision in existing datasets, we develop a Unified Scenario Engine that programmatically generates structured multi-turn conversations with fine-grained retrieval annotations, enabling reinforcement learning to optimize abstraction and retrieval policies. We also construct a long-horizon visual-dialogue benchmark stratified by difficulty to evaluate episodic visual recall. Our 8B agent achieves 91.4% retrieval accuracy over 20-turn sessions, surpassing 32B baselines by +8.2% while nearly halving per-turn inference time (23.1s -> 12.7s). We further present the Cognitive-structured Multimodal Agent Harness (CMA-Harness), a tool-augmented deployment of the same cognitive structure integrating persistent multimodal memory, web access, image generation/editing/composition tools, and OpenAI-compatible serving. Structured memory and modular decision-making offer a more scalable, efficient paradigm for long-horizon multimodal agents than monolithic parameter scaling. Complex image creation and editing often require more than a single generation or editing model. A user request may involve synthesizing images, localizing objects, segmenting regions, editing selected content, compositing intermediate assets, reading text, and enhancing the final result. Such tasks shift multimodal agents from perception-augmented reasoning to manipulation-centered visual creation, where tools must actively transform visual states rather than merely inspect them. However, existing multimodal tool-use agents are mostly optimized for perception, search, or domain-specific editing, and lack large-scale supervision for executable image-creation trajectories. In this paper, we introduce CanvasCraft, a large-scale multimodal tool-use dataset for complex image creation and editing, and \textbf{CanvasAgent}, a tool-augmented multimodal agent that learns to orchestrate heterogeneous visual tools through multi-turn interaction. CanvasCraft contains 140K fully annotated executable trajectories and 10K RL task specifications. CanvasAgent is first trained with SFT to learn executable reasoning-action trajectories, and is then optimized with GRPO using a hybrid reward that combines outcome- and process-level signals. During rollout, CanvasAgent inspects intermediate results, tracks visual assets, and adapts tool decisions to the evolving visual state. Experiments evaluate both final image quality and trajectory behavior, demonstrating the effectiveness of CanvasAgent and the proposed dataset for complex multi-tool image creation workflows.
Computer-Aided Design is pivotal in modern manufacturing, yet existing automated methods predominantly rely on open-loop, one-shot generation, creating a mismatch with iterative real-world practices. In this paper, we present IterCAD, a unified multimodal agent framework for closed-loop, interactive CAD generation and editing. We formulate the task as a multi-turn interaction between a multimodal agent and an executable CAD sandbox, covering three tasks: Drawing-to-Code, Text-to-Code, and Interactive Editing. To support this, we develop a data synthesis pipeline incorporating advanced industrial manufacturing features to generate standard-compliant multi-view engineering drawings, complex code-editing tasks, and high-fidelity interaction trajectories. We optimize the agent via progressive SFT followed by geometry-aware reinforcement learning with viable-prefix masking to enhance code executability and geometric fidelity. Finally, we introduce the IterCAD-Bench evaluation suite and propose the Chamfer Distance Tolerance-Recall (CD-TR) curve alongside its AUC-TR metric, establishing a survivor-bias-free standard that unifies code validity and geometric precision. Extensive experiments demonstrate that IterCAD achieves highly competitive performance across multiple benchmarks, significantly outperforming existing approaches in both code executability and geometric precision, while exhibiting superior capabilities in closed-loop iterative refinement.
We introduce Kwai Keye-VL-2.0-30B-A3B, an open-source Mixture-of-Experts (MoE) multimodal foundation model designed to advance long-video understanding and agentic intelligence. To address the challenges of ultra-long contexts, information redundancy, and prohibitive computational costs inherent in hour-level videos, Keye-VL-2.0 is the first to adapt DeepSeek Sparse Attention (DSA) to GQA-based multimodal architectures, enabling lossless 256K context processing while capturing critical frames and long-range temporal dependencies. This architecture is underpinned by a highly optimized training and inference infrastructure, including scalable video I/O, heterogeneous ViT-LM parallelism, and custom DSA kernels that significantly maximize throughput and minimize computational overhead. Furthermore, to overcome the algorithmic dilemma of catastrophic forgetting during multi-task alignment, we introduce Cross-Modal Multi-Teacher On-Policy Distillation (MOPD) paired with Context-RL and Video-RL. By distilling dense token-level teacher feedback from on-policy rollouts back into the MoE backbone, which activates only 3B parameters, Keye-VL-2.0 natively empowers advanced agent collaboration across Code, Tool, and Search scenarios with multimodal self-correction. Extensive evaluations across video understanding, temporal grounding, reasoning, STEM, and agent benchmarks demonstrate that Keye-VL-2.0-30B-A3B achieves state-of-the-art performance among models of similar scale, particularly excelling in fine-grained temporal localization on TimeLens and long-video comprehension on Video-MME-v2 and LongVideoBench. We release our model checkpoints to accelerate community progress toward scalable and robust multimodal agentic applications.
