Controllable surgical world models can provide a generative foundation for surgical artificial intelligence and simulation by synthesizing realistic instrument--tissue interactions. However, existing methods lack a unified multimodal control paradigm, while direct fusion of heterogeneous visual conditions often causes anatomical distortion, instrument appearance drift, and temporally inconsistent interactions. In this work, we propose {Surg-UniWorld}, a unified surgical world model with multimodal control experts. Surg-UniWorld first constructs a {Hierarchical Surgical Anchor} from first-frame appearance and hierarchical semantic masks to preserve persistent scene identity, anatomical organization, and interaction boundaries. {Anchor-Relative Modality Experts} then interpret edge, depth, and optical-flow evidence relative to the shared anchor, capturing complementary boundary, geometric, and motion information. A {Multimodal Control Expert} further performs contribution-preserving stage-wise composition of the activated modality increments and generates control hints for the Wan2.2 video diffusion backbone. To support multimodal surgical world modeling, we further construct Cholec80-SurgWAM, a benchmark for controllable surgical video generation. Extensive experiments demonstrate that Surg-UniWorld consistently outperforms existing controllable video generation methods and surgical world-model baselines in generation quality, temporal consistency, and multimodal controllability.
Flow-matching policies are promising for imitation learning because they model complex multimodal action distributions. However, their stochasticity is largely passive: repeated sampling may yield diverse behaviors, but users cannot directly choose among valid continuations from the same state. We propose Source-Lifted Flow Matching (SL-FM), a source-intervenable flow-matching policy that exposes such a handle while keeping the velocity field shared and latent-free. The handle selects only the source endpoint of the conditional flow, not a mode-specific field, preserving the standard formulation while avoiding decomposition into separate mode-conditioned dynamics. The core mechanism is \textbf{Orthogonal Source Lifting}, designed to prevent path-crossing ambiguity. Instead of partitioning target actions by mode, SL-FM lifts handle-specific sources into auxiliary orthogonal coordinates and keeps targets in the original action subspace. This preserves the demonstrated action distribution while allowing one shared field to carry different branches without merging at crossings. To keep handles usable across states, we learn a state-dependent source mixture end to end and use a responsibility floor, giving each handle weak supervision and mitigating dead modes. Experiments on crossing-flow diagnostics and robot-control benchmarks show that SL-FM converts passive source randomness into an actionable intervention variable. It removes crossing-induced composite trajectories, changes future routes in 91.1\% of matched-prefix interventions, and achieves strong free-deployment performance, with improvements in several benchmark settings. Overall, source geometry provides actionable multimodal control without conditioning the velocity field on the selected mode.
Generative diffusion models excel at synthesizing high-quality images, videos, and 3D content under multimodal control. However, arbitrary user-defined modality-to-4D (X-to-4D) generation remains challenging due to the high cost of constructing diverse datasets and the limited scalability of existing methods. This paper presents Align4D, a flexible framework that translates any-modal input into coherent video-3D pairs, using video to guide 4D motion and 3D data to shape 4D geometry. Align4D introduces three key techniques: (1) Object Distance Alignment, which searches Video-Aligned and Multiview-Aligned Object Distances (VAOD/MAOD), respectively, to reconcile 4D renderings with video and the priors of multiview diffusion models; (2) Motion-Geometry Joint Alignment, which constrains known and unknown views through synchronized video and 3D inputs, ensuring consistent 4D generation; and (3) Asynchronous Optimization, which decouples Gaussian attribute and deformation network training to enhance motion and geometry fidelity. We further propose the X4D dataset, which integrates prompt, image, video, and 3D data for benchmarking. Experiments on X4D and Consistent4D demonstrate that Align4D achieves state-of-the-art quality and consistency in X-to-4D generation. Project page: https://miaoqiaowei.github.io/Align4D/.

Audio and music generation based on flexible multimodal control signals is a widely applicable topic, with the following key challenges: 1) a unified multimodal modeling framework, 2) large-scale, high-quality training data, and 3) the prohibitive inference cost of multi-step diffusion sampling. As such, we propose AudioX-Turbo, a unified and efficient framework for anything-to-audio generation that integrates varied multimodal conditions (i.e., text, video, and audio signals) in this work. AudioX-Turbo follows a teacher-student paradigm. The teacher AudioX-Base is built on a Multimodal Diffusion Transformer with a Multimodal Adaptive Fusion module that aligns diverse multimodal inputs for high-fidelity synthesis, and is then distilled into the few-step student AudioX-Turbo via Distribution Matching Distillation adapted to flow matching, complemented by a diffusion-based discriminator for high-quality few-step generation. To support the training of AudioX-Turbo, we construct a large-scale, high-quality dataset, IF-caps-Pro, comprising approximately 9.2M samples curated through a two-stage data collection and annotation pipeline. We benchmark AudioX-Turbo across a wide range of tasks, finding that our model achieves superior performance, especially on text-to-audio and text-to-music generation, while operating at only 4 sampling steps and requiring approximately 25x fewer function evaluations (NFE) than multi-step baselines. These results demonstrate that our method is capable of audio generation under flexible multimodal control, showing efficient and powerful instruction-following capabilities. The code and datasets will be available at https://zeyuet.github.io/AudioX-Turbo/.
